Over its 17 year history, Fratangelo Gardens has grown and developed into being one of Pennsylvania's premier Nursery and Landscaping Company's serving the Pittsburgh Area, extending into Ohio and West Virginia markets.
Headquartered on a 3 acre site in Coraopolis, PA, Fratangelo Gardens works closely with homeowners and landscape contractors to build and maintain landscapes for residential and commercial properties. In addition to our retail and installation divisions, the landscape experts at Fratangelo Gardens will professionally design your landscape project.
In 2004, Fratangelo Gardens purchased Brodhead Landscaping Supplies located in Center Township, PA. Since that acquisition, Brodhead Landscaping Supplies has successfully grown into being Beaver County's largest landscape and power equipment supply retail centers. Customers can find bulk stone, mulch, soil, and Versalok product at Brodhead Landscaping Supplies and much more.
In 2005, Fratangelo Gardens got into the Winter Maintenance Business servicing Commercial Accounts. During the winter months, Fratangelo Gardens is fully insured and equipped to maintain large shopping centers, office complexes, restaurants, hotels, apartment complexes, etc. With the use of skid steers, pick-up trucks, large dump trucks, large articulating loaders with snow boxes, and small articulating loaders with snow boxes, customers are given excellent service.
In 2006, Fratangelo Gardens purchased one of Ohio's largest growing facilities, Madison Ohio Growers now known as Phelps Nursery, Ohio. We have a state-of-the-art propagation facility and over 400 acres in fields and greenhouses. This has given us a sharper edge in the industry as we have the ability to bid our landscape projects more competitively, passing the savings on to our customers.
In Spring 2010, Fratangelo Gardens launched two of its Phelps Outdoor Power Equipment stores. Customers can now purchase lawn and landscaping power equipment as well as have it serviced at any of its locations.
Coming this spring 2011, Phelps Outdoor Power Equipment will be opening its third location in Robinson Township, PA with the GRAND OPENING of Phelps Nursery!
